Description
All of my sea glass, or beach glass as it is also known, was handpicked by me on Kauai in Hawaii when I lived there. I have glass from nowhere else, for the moment. Each time I return to Kauai, I will spend many hours exploring the beaches. The famous Glass Beach in Eleele no longer contains glass. It was a dump site and the waves pounded the bottles and jars left there, and turned it into beautiful glass pieces. But Kauai has more beaches than all the rest of the Hawaiian Islands combined. I am sure to find more beach glass during my trips.

Wow! I don't even think I have one piece of orange sea glass .... patricia
Mary Deal replied:
Patricia, I'm trying to imagine what this may have come from. It could have been a soda pop bottle. People stopped dumping at Glass Beach in the early 1950s, so it's pre-50s.
