Description
A vertical image of a sleeping kitty. A Tabby cat is not a breed of cat but is a domesticated animal and known by some distinctive markings. They have a definite “M” shaped marking on their foreheads, with stripes by its eyes and on its cheeks. Stripes are also present on its legs and around its tail. Swirling patterns of stripes continue over most of its body. While similar stripes and markings appear on many breeds, the Tabby’s marks make them a descendant of the African wildcat, the European wildcat and the Asiatic wildcat. there are five known species of tabby cats around the world to which all Tabbies are related.
