Elvis Presley - Natural Performing Stage - Coco Palms Toddler T-Shirt

Another view of the natural stage is on the lagoon behind the north wing restaurants at Coco Palms on Kauai in Hawaii. Though the Coco Palms stands in ruins, some couples have their wedding ceremonies here in this location. Check the rest of my Elvis related images too.

The Coco Palms Resort opened in Wailua on Kauai, Hawaii on January 25, 1953. Scenes from Elvis Presley's movie Blue Hawaii were filmed there. Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby are among the Hollywood elite that helped make the place famous.

Hurricane Iniki decimated the entire facility in 1992. The Resort had since remained closed and falling into repair. Now it is under re-construction, to open as the original resort but run by Hyatt in 2017.
