A carved pumpkin brightly lit makes a great greeting card for this holiday.
It is possible that Halloween had its roots in pagan beliefs, though the actual beginnings of these celebrations is not known. In this country this holidays is also thought of al All Saints Day, All Souls Day or Hallowmas.
Halloween is celebrated in quite a few countries for several reasons. Among them are the harvest festivals and festivals honoring the dead. That may be from where the notion to wear costumes and such on the eve of Halloween got its roots.
