Description
This white hibiscus seems a shy beauty. I could get around to the other side to photography this tropical flower, so accepted what I could get. The red stamen shows wonderfully against the details and shadows of the white.
The official state flower of Hawaii is the yellow hibiscus, but it seems the red ones are more popular. They are seen growing more often than most other colors.
The Hibiscus is a member of the Malvaceae family of flowering plants. They grow mostly in warm tropical climates.
