Description
This Compound Steam Plough or Steam Plow is always on display in various locations on Kauai in Hawaii. It was invented in the late 1800s and used in Hawaii from 1904-1935. This antique Hawaiian steam plow was used for plowing sugar cane fields before planting. With this equipment, ten acres would be plowed in a day., a lot of ground coverage in those days.
