This view of Lake Tahoe, from the California side, with its famous pier was an image I took while on vacation to the Mainland. My son joined me from the east coast. Strangely, he and I both shot almost the same identical image from this vantage point. This happened several times though this was the closest when we compared.
I remember Lake Tahoe from childhood and the first bathing suit I ever had. It was a two piece in white with a girl in a blue bathing suit water skiing on the front of the shortie. At that time the water was glassy clear all the way out in the middle of the lake and you could see the bottom anywhere. Sadly, it is no longer that pure.
