Description
Striped tangs are a tropical reef fish. They live in depths 3-200 feet or more and grow to about fifteen inches. Known as Zebrasoma veliferum. They can be seen in many large aquariums. Their skin is usually beige with stripes, different colored stripes depending on the specific fish. Their skin will turn dark brown when they are stressed. The body is disk shaped with a dorsal fin. They feed on algae.
