Many little cottages can be found in the Islands in picturesque scenes like this. Many of them are vacation rentals, with some people in permanent residence right next door. If I ever go back to Kauai, I'll be staying in one of these as opposed to an expensive resort. This is the true flavor of the Islands.

Beautiful find Mary!! When we lived on the island of Oahu, there was a tree like this in Waikiki park, or beach..these are amazing trees!! l/f

With a comment like that, Karyn, you'd probably immensely enjoy the trees in the Islands. These are hundreds of years old and can probably tell stories about kids climbing their limbs.
