Description
The Honolulu Convention Center on Oahu in Hawaii is three blocks from where I live and one of the local buildings that always captures my attention. The shady side, or the back side shown here with its steep and stairs with too many steps, has a very long walking path lined with shade trees. It's a nice cut through from the interior of Honolulu to Ala Moana Boulevard and ocean side.
I'm taken with the architecture here and find it unusual, almost a conglomerate of styles. This is a huge multi-storied building and the front is nearly all glass. I hesitate the think how that would be protected should another hurricane threaten.
